Brenda Rusnak, CEO
Ms. Rusnak holds a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy and is the founder of Active Health Services. She has over 25 years experience in delivering and managing rehabilitation services. In 1989, her company became the first to deliver preventative physiotherapy services (including Falls Prevention Programs), to senior citizens residing in Nursing Homes throughout Ontario. In 1992, she enabled third-party insurers and employers to access standardized, high-quality rehabilitation services in large and small communities throughout Canada, by building the first national network of independently-owned and operated physiotherapy clinics. Ms. Rusnak has sat on numerous professional committees, is a frequently invited guest speaker at healthcare conferences and seminars, and is a contributing author in Anne Leckie's book entitiled "Disability and Claims Management". She was awarded the Canadian Healthcare Manager's "Who's Who in Healthcare Technology Award". The award is presented to winners in the areas of government, group insurance, healthcare provider, hospital management, medical research, pharmaceutical, plan sponsor and technology, and is designed to recognize individuals who demonstrate an exceptional level of leadership and vision, and whose unique approach has made a positive impact in their field.

Liz Ballantyne,
VP Provider & Clinical Services
Just Assessments and Community Rehab Division
Liz is a Registered Physiotherapist and also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.  She joined ACTIVE Health Management in 2000, with experience in clinical practice and disability management.  Liz oversees the delivery of healthcare services to third-party payers and manages ACTIVE's extensive provider network.

Liz Snelgrove,
VP Sales & Marketing
Just Assessments and Community Rehab Division
Liz joined ACTIVE in 1995 as the Marketing Director for the Atlantic region. While in that position, she introduced the concept of "managed care" to regional property and casualty insurers and life and health insurers throughout the maritimes. Liz assumed the role of VP, Sales and Marketing in September 2003. She is responsible for overseeing the business development team, and for growing national accounts to achieve corporate growth and profitability.
