ACTIVE was formed in order to allow healthcare professionals continue to be independent while enjoying all the benefits of being part of a larger entity (i.e. group marketing, volume discounts, cooperative research and data collection, etc.). It was also created in response to the need of consumers to be able to identify and access high quality healthcare in every community, large and small, throughout Canada .
